One of the mediators at Relationship Mediation Specialists will meet with the couple and explain the mediation process. If the parties agree to mediate their case, then the mediator will have them complete an asset/expense disclosure statement, identify all the issues that need to be discussed, and explain the billing and fees.
In the mediation sessions, both parties have the opportunity to raise issues. Both parties will have the same uninterrupted time to be heard. And both parties will play an equal role in devising a written agreement dividing the property and rights of the relationship.
